Phuket boxing stadium ticket payment options depend on where the ticket is bought. Online, the HKT checkout offers card payment and several digital wallets. At the stadium door, both venues take cash or credit card. Inside the venue, the two stadiums part ways, since Bangla Boxing Stadium is cash only while Patong Boxing Stadium takes cash or card.

Knowing which method works at each step saves a trip to an ATM at the wrong moment. This guide covers paying online, paying at the door and paying once inside, for both venues. HKT sells tickets for both stadiums as an independent ticket vendor, and each venue is run by its own management.

Phuket boxing stadium ticket payment options at a glance

The table sets the three payment points side by side for both venues.

Where the payment happens Bangla Boxing Stadium Patong Boxing Stadium
Booking online with HKT Card, PayPal, Alipay or PromptPay Card, PayPal, Alipay or PromptPay
Buying at the stadium door Cash or credit card Cash or credit card
Drinks and snacks inside the venue Cash only Cash or card
Extra fees on the ticket None None

The online methods are the ones seen on the HKT checkout page when it was checked on October 11, 2026. Payment options at any checkout can change, so the checkout itself is the place to confirm the current list before paying.

Paying for stadium tickets online

The HKT checkout showed four ways to pay on October 11, 2026, for both Bangla and Patong tickets. For Phuket boxing stadium tickets, card payment runs through Omise, a card payment gateway, and the same checkout also offered PayPal, Alipay and PromptPay.

  • Card through Omise. A credit or debit card entered at checkout.
  • PayPal. Payment through a PayPal account, with card payment also available through the PayPal button.
  • Alipay. Payment through an Alipay account.
  • PromptPay. Thailand’s QR payment system, paid by scanning a code with a banking app that supports it.

There are no booking, card or transfer fees on top of the ticket price, whichever method is used. The price at checkout is the full price of the ticket.

Tickets are priced in Thai baht. When a card from another country is used, any currency conversion or foreign transaction charge comes from the card issuer rather than from the ticket seller, so it is worth knowing how a particular card handles baht payments before booking.

Once payment goes through, a written booking confirmation follows. The pages on the Bangla e-ticket confirmation and the Patong e-ticket confirmation explain what arrives and what to bring on the night. Keeping that confirmation handy also makes any later date change easier, since the booking can be identified straight away.

QR payment has become an everyday way to pay in Thailand. The Tourism Authority of Thailand has promoted a tourist e-wallet that lets visitors pay with Thai QR Payment as an alternative to carrying cash, and it reports that cross-border QR payment lets some visitors scan and pay with apps from their home markets. Whether a particular app can pay a given code depends on that app, so a card or PayPal is often the simplest route.

The FAQ page answers common payment questions, and the step-by-step guides to booking Bangla Boxing Stadium tickets and booking Patong Boxing Stadium tickets show where payment fits in the booking.

Paying for tickets at the stadium door

Phuket boxing stadium ticket payment at the door is straightforward. Both venues accept cash or credit card at the door, so a walk-up visitor does not need to carry the full ticket price in notes.

Doors open at 8:00 PM at Bangla Boxing Stadium and at 7:30 PM at Patong Boxing Stadium. How the door price compares with the online price differs between the two venues, though.

Bangla Boxing Stadium tickets cost 1,500 baht for Stadium and 1,900 baht for Ringside online, a discounted price 5% below what is paid at the stadium door. Patong Boxing Stadium tickets cost 1,500 baht for Stadium and 1,800 baht for Ringside, the same price online as at the door.

At Bangla, then, paying at the door costs more than paying online for the same seat. At Patong, the method changes but the price does not. The guides to Bangla tickets at the door versus online and Patong tickets at the door versus online go further into the walk-up experience at each venue.

Cash or card inside the venue

Once the ticket is sorted, the two stadiums handle in-venue spending differently. Bangla Boxing Stadium is cash only inside the venue, so drinks and snacks during the evening need baht in hand. Patong Boxing Stadium accepts cash or card inside the venue.

That difference is the one most likely to catch a visitor out. A group that pays for everything by card during the day can arrive at Bangla without a single note, and the first round of drinks becomes a search for an ATM instead of a seat beside the ring. A card-only plan works at Patong from the booking to the last drink, while at Bangla it needs some cash set aside before arriving.

Major Buddhist holy days add one more detail: fights still run on those nights, but no alcohol is sold at either stadium.

Booking stadium tickets with the right payment method

The simplest plan uses one method online and a little cash for the evening. Paying online settles the ticket in advance with any of the checkout options, and a small amount of baht covers drinks at Bangla.

The channel matters as much as the method. Tickets bought through other sellers follow those sellers’ payment terms, and the comparison of direct booking and resellers explains what to check before paying anyone.

For a Bangla night at the discounted online price, Bangla Boxing Stadium tickets can be paid by any of the checkout methods. For Patong, Patong Boxing Stadium tickets cover any night from Monday to Saturday. The Phuket boxing stadium guide compares the two venues for anyone still choosing.
